For over a decade I have been painting both traditional thangka and thangka-inspired dharmic art. In that time I have had the good fortune of studying with a number of Nepalese and Tibetan teachers, including Jamyong Singye, Dinesh Shrestha, Tsherin Sherpa , and Tashi Dhargyal.

While my traditional thangka work adheres to the structural rules of Buddhist sacred art, my contemporary work takes a more inspirational and interpretive approach, incorporating elements of popular culture. Paintings can be framed or brocaded in the traditional Tibetan style.
